Attorney Nick Hansen of Hansen Law Firm is proud to be an active member of the community. He is a founding member of the Rocky Flats Downwinders. This is a community organization that is concerned about people who lived within close proximity to the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant during the years in which it was in operation – from 1952 to 1992. Sadly, many of these residents suffered – and continue to suffer – adverse health effects. The organization advocates for these residents and strives to bring awareness of Rocky Flats to the community. Rocky Flats Downwinders also provides education to healthcare professionals and seeks to obtain medical monitoring and supportive services for Colorado residents affected by the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant.
